My advice: get a macbook pro 13 or mac mini with Apple’s M1 processor. To buy any other mac right now(unless you need to run windows on your mac) would be pretty foolish.Įven a 700$ mac mini outperforms 2000$+ intel macs right now. These new processors are as powerful as the most powerful intel laptops/imacs Apple produce and it will only get better with developers optimizing their software in the upcoming months. Youtube is filled with performance reviews you can watch. These new processors are amazingly fast while running very quiet(macbook air even doesnt have a fan) and very cold. Apple will be replacing all of their line to their own processors from now on. Not sure how up to date are you with current mac news but Apple released their own M1 SoC’s recently. Don’t be fooled by thinking any outdated system can run a 2020 software without having issues. OP If you are reading I would suggest at minimum 2 gb GPU 8 ram, i5 processor. I could take screenshots of my 2012 mac running into that problem with lumetri in cc 2020 but running fine in cc2019 but I won’t (Just as the Adobe staff suggested in the forum) Anyway you seem to know better even than the developers of the software, so whatever you say man. I mentioned the student cases since all of them have had old systems and ran into this issue.
You say that because a system is old it does not mean anything, which goes against any common sense for starters it means precisely that: they are old. What I am contesting is your fallacious statement that they can run it WITHOUT ANY ISSUE. Also I haven’t stated that old machines can’t run premiere. Well if you don’t understand what does my answer have to do with OP question, then you might have an issue.
